When Enrico had first reported to him that Martina had married Antonio, Ares had been furious. The woman he loved had moved on, not just with anyone, but with the very man who had tried to take everything from him.
It had felt like a knife in the back, twisting with every word. The fact that it had happened within a month of his supposed death had only made it worse. And now, standing in front of her, those feelings of betrayal resurfaced with a vengeance.
