Santiago’s jaw tightened slightly, though he kept his tone measured. "Marcela. It has been a while. I’m surprised to hear from you." He glanced out the tinted window, watching the city blur by as the car sped down the road. Her voice brought a mix of memories, passionate nights, heated arguments, and a whirlwind of emotions that had made their relationship impossible to sustain.
"Surprised? Come on, Santiago," she purred, her voice dripping with a blend of mischief and seduction. "You can’t tell me you’ve forgotten about me already. You used to say I was unforgettable."
