Book 1: Chapter 56

She placed her hand on her chest and gasped, looking at Marco with a terrified look. "I...I was..."

"You were what? Snooping around?" Marco asked. "The sign outside the door clearly said that you should keep off, or can't you read?" 

Gabriella gulped, she was about to speak, to try to defend herself when Sebastian stepped in. 

"What is going on here?" Sebastian asked, his eyes falling on the papers on the desk and the pictures of Gabriella. 

"Your girlfriend here, doesn't know how to read a sign," Marco said between gritted teeth. 

Sebastian realizing the tension in the room between Gabriella and Marco, tried to access the situation. "Did I miss something?" 

"I want her out of my study, now," Marco yelled. 

"Gabriella," Sebastian called out to Gabriella, signalling her to leave the room with him. 

Gabriella quickly gathered her wits and followed Sebastian out of the room, leaving Marco looking furious
