Book 1: Chapter 64

Matteo's Mansion

It had been five days since Gabriella's abduction and she had woken up in this room, her left leg strapped to a long chain, it was a good thing the chain was long enough that it allowed her to move around the room but that was as far as she got. 

For five days, no one came into the room, no food, no water, nothing. The first two days her energy was still up, she had banged on the door continuously pleading for anyone behind the door to please let her out. 

She even promised to pay them a huge sum of money since her father was Lombardi was her father but not a single soul responded to her. By the third day, she found herself sitting in the corner of the room just sitting in a corner and trying to hold on to her last energy. 

Her vision started feeling blurry, she felt a migraine, dehydrated and hunger was eating her up from the inside. She was starting to lose hope, thinking she would die in this room, alone and forgotten.
