Chapter 211. Netflix, Chill, and More

“What a beautiful place you've got here,” Lara begins with a compliment as soon as he appears.

“Thank you.” Zach beams, his dark apparel clinging to his body in a way that enhances his appearance. “It is my ancestral home. I only inherited it.” He adds.

After exchanging a soft hug, they proceed into the mansion as Zach shows her around. Their last stop is at the master’s bedroom. Where he leads her to a couch facing a huge screen tv.

“Let me get refreshments. I will be back,” he excuses himself.

Perhaps, this is a movie date? Lara wonders.

Before long, Zach appears with a bottle of wine and two wine glasses, placing them on the table in front of Lara. The soft clink of the glass against wood draws her attention, and she looks up at him, then at the wine glasses, a smirk forming on her lips.

“I thought you were going to get us popcorn?” She quips, feigning confusion. “You know, for the movie?”

“What movie?” Zach wonders, smiling devilish
