Chapter 32. Raging Rose
Rose clicks a fancy black pen, rage burning inside her. It is so hot within that one can almost see smoke emanating from her orifices.
Her therapist once told her to find something calming whenever she feels uncontrollable rage. It has been challenging to find something to soothe her wrath, but recently, her late husband's pen did it for her.
In her head, she pictures the ball at the tip of the pen as Richard’s head and likes to think that each time she presses on it, he sinks deeper into the grave that he is buried in. He committed more atrocities than he looked like he was capable of. Now that he is resting in peace, the family cannot. She cannot. His actions sting worse than a bee!
She wishes that torturing the head of the pen could somehow make Richard feel the pain she feels. He left her in this rot and mess. Perhaps her once-perceived good luck has run out, and marrying a Croft is not necessarily a blessing as it appears to be.
