Chapter 59. Hope

ISABELLA’S POV

Dante and I went to see my family today. I haven’t seen Antonio in a while so immediately I set my eyes on him, all my emotions resurface as he holds me in a tight and warm hug.

“I missed you so much princess.” Antonio says with the sweetest voice ever. “What’s this about Gianna?” As he asks the question, his voice breaks and his face falls into a frown.

“Come on, I’ll tell you inside.”

Once inside the house, my mother embraces me and offers me a warm smile. “Are you sure Isabella?” She asks me with a sad look on her face. “Is Gianna really alive?”

“If she is, then we better find her and kill her.” My father says walking into the living room with a glass of champagne in his hands. I ignore him and turn to face my mother and Antonio.

“There’s something you should know mom…” I start saying. “Valencia’s parents are dead and her house got bombed.” Antonio widens his eyes and takes a step back. My mother gasps, covering her hands
