After hanging up the phone, the middle-aged man sneered again.
But before Liam could respond, there was a heavy knock on the door.
"That was quick..."
The middle-aged man was momentarily surprised but didn't think much of it. He looked at Liam with a smug expression and said, "I told you to leave, but you didn't listen. Now, you won't be able to walk out on your own!"
He stood up and went to open the door.
Liam didn't stop him; he had nothing to hide. In fact, the bigger this got, the better it would be for him.
He didn't like making a public spectacle, but he thought he could reason with the director of the identification center. He hoped that by appealing to his sense of reason, the man wouldn't be foolish enough to risk his caree
