Liam’s tone remained calm, and his expression stayed neutral, but the firmness in his words made David’s heart skip a beat.
Almost instinctively, David shot to his feet and nodded, "Don’t worry, Mr. Thorne, I’ll have them transfer the money immediately..."
"Damn it, there's something off about this Thorne guy! Mr. Martinze, I think no matter what method you use, you need to speed things up and get rid of him. If he stays here much longer, he could really become a problem..."
After leaving Liam's office, David didn't immediately return to the finance department but instead went to Mark's office.
