Chapter 67
Lana let out a pained hiss as Avery cleaned the sole of her feet with a disinfectant wipe. She glanced up at the girl who was clearly trying her best not to move under her touch. After River ran off, Avery wanted to chase after him but she did not think that it was the best idea to leave Lana alone since she was clearly confused as to why she was even in the forest in the first place.
Avery then decided that they should probably treat Lana’s messed up feet before she got an infection. As Avery drove to a nearby pharmacy to get the supplies, Lana told her everything that happened prior to their meeting at the forest. Now, Avery was particularly sitting on the tarred ground tending to Lana’s wounds while Lana sat in the car sideways with her feet extending outwards.
