Chapter 17. A New Friend

Selena stared at the girl, a bit taken aback. Her eyes then fell on the car, it didn’t look all that expensive but it did look like a decent one.

“Quit staring and get into the car,” the red haired girl said, chuckling to herself.

The omega was tentative about this but also knew she needed help. She knew she had nowhere to go, she couldn’t go back to Elijah or her mom. She had nowhere to sleep.

Sighing, she opened the door and got into the car. She scratched her skin a bit before holding back. She put on her seatbelt and then said in a small voice before they started moving, “Thank you.”

“Mm-hmm,” the girl replied, her focus now on the road as she drove them away from the festival. After a few minutes of silence, she broke the quiet by asking, “How did you do it?”
