Chapter 18. An Unwanted Guest

Cat was thrust back into the real world, her heart thundering in her chest as she gasped to catch her breath.

She was lying on the cold floor of the kitchen, her body feeling weird. When she sat up, she called out to the omega, “Selena?” That was when she saw the girl on the floor not far from the kitchen island, unconscious. “Sh*t,” she said as she rushed on her feet and went over to help.
