Maddox groaned as he stirred in his sleep. The music he had put on to fall asleep was no longer playing, and there were chimes that kept coming from his phone. He was annoyed because he had actually been enjoying his sleep.

He opened his eyes and stared at the ceiling for a few long seconds, allowing his reality to soon crash in on him. Everything came back, rushing into him…reminding him of how f*cked he was.

Oh, how he wished that he could sleep forever. And he did not mean that in a depressed way or anything, but sleeping was such a great way to escape feeling. It was a perfect way of letting your mind and body rest at the same time.
