Chapter 195. Arrested: pt. 2

The woman walked into the mansion with a calm that screamed that she owned the place, even though she did not. She had one job and she was going to make sure to get it done.

She was the head of the police department, and even though she really loved the alpha, she also loved bringing people to justice. As much as it saddened her for what she was about to do, it also disgusted her that the guy could do what he had done.

She made her way towards the living room and her eyes landed on the alpha and a girl. At first, she could not recognize who the girl was, but then it clicked. The girl was the omega who was supposed to save the pack from the dark prophecy.

“Alpha Maddox, nice to meet you in person for the first time,” The woman said as she closed the small distance between them and proceeded to extend her hand for a handshake. “I am so sorry that we have to meet under these circumstances, but I am of course just doing my job.” She smiled weakly as they shook hands.
