Chapter 205. Just a Glimpse

Selena knew that she could not kill Malek, and for some reason, that brought her some peace. At least, she did not have to end a life. But she did know that she needed to help the blonde girl.

Cassie was in great pain. She knew that she should have said something when the omega had started to stab Malek, and then she started to feel like she was being stabbed in the heart, too. She should have opened her mouth, but she had not.

She had wanted their plan to work so much that she was willing to pretend that she was not literally starting to bleed as the guy was bleeding as well. This just meant that the guards were telling the truth, she was truly connected to the guy, and there was nothing she could do to harm him unless she was willing to sacrifice her life.

And she did not want to do that. As much as she loved the town and pack, she was not willing to die for anyone, knowing that not her own mother would be willing to lay down her life for her. Not even her own fa
