Chapter 209. Asking For Help

In an hour, Selena and the others were in the car, and the beta was the one that was driving.

Everyone was focused on what they were about to do. They really hoped that the red haired girl was going to help them, but there was this voice at the back of the blonde girl’s head that kept telling her that nothing was going to help or work.

The sooner she’d accept that she could not be helped, the better. But she also did not want to lose hope as well. She wanted to live. She wanted to be able to travel the world and see how other towns looked like. She wanted more for herself. She wanted more time.

And if she died, she would not be able to get any of that. She did not want to die.

“Is this the road?” The beta asked, glancing at the backseat at the girls.

Selena cleared her throat and nodded before verbally replying, “Yeah, just keep going. It should be somewhere around here.”

Leon nodded and looked back at the road, his heart thumping in his chest. He
