Chapter 245. Metal Chairs

It was the next day. The rumors were true. The darkness had truly fled, and the sky was back to normal. The sun rose as it used to, and the weather looked like it was going to be a great day. 

It had also been confirmed that the rivers cleared up as well. All the plagues that had sat over the pack for weeks had suddenly disappeared after Malek had risen as the Alpha of the pack. Leon was confused about this. He knew that the spirits did not approve of the guy being the leader. 

He could remember vividly that one of the guardians had even told him that Malek did not belong anywhere near the Oracle. So why was everything…normal? The question bugged the beta. It played in his head like a broken record, and he wished that he knew the answer, but he did not. 

On the news, it had also been announced that the dark lord was now the Alpha of the pack. Malek had made sure to kick Leon to the servants’ quarters, that was in the same compound as the Royal Mansion.
