Chapter 244. Clear Skies

The end was now. Or so it seemed. The earth shook underneath, and it took only seconds for the ground to split open under them. The sky that was once dark was now filling with light as thunder echoed one more time. The darkness was fleeing, and it looked like the sun was getting back to normal.
