Chapter 113
Kade POV
The pack house was empty. Thank goodness, because the last thing I wanted was an earful from my mother. I carried Gabbie upstairs to my bedroom. Atlas and his sister were hot on my heels.
The pack was secure and calm when I left the bonfire.
“What’s it feel like?” I asked Gabbie.
“Like shit!”
I figured. “I’ll be right back. I’ll take care of you.”
Atlas was on my tail. I wish I didn’t have to deal with this right now when hunters got on my land. Who knew who else was coming?
“Dude, you knew your mate was a Hunter?”
“Fated mate and half hunter,” I corrected.
I went downstairs to find a werewolf first aid kit. Mom kept it under the sink for when Dad came home after a run or breaking up a fight at a local bar.
“Does that make a difference?” Atlas barked.
“Of course, it makes a difference. Gabbie’s not an evil monster. She hasn’t killed a wolf. It’s the wolves you’ve tried to take her life.”
