Chapter 32

Gabbie POV

Alex tucked me into bed at the omega quarters after he overdosed me on his alpha power. He sat on my bed for a while as I drifted in and out of consciousness. I wasn’t sure I got my best friend back. I believed I had another problem.

“Alex,” I murmured.

“Get some rest, Gabbie.”

“But—”

“You’re too stubborn for your own good. You can’t even talk.”

I pouted at him. He cracked a ghost of a smile. He kissed my forehead and stood.

“I’ll see you later okay?”

“You’re not mad anymore?”

His shoulders slumped and he turned around. “Goodbye.”

Sneaking into the alpha castle wasn’t the easiest thing to do. Servants came and went, and so did teachers. I worried about running into one of the alpha females or Alex but I managed to make it to the second floor then it was smooth sailing up to Kade’s room.
