Katelyn’s POV

I head out of the pack house towards the training grounds. However, my mind can’t stop wondering if Bridget is all right. I know Wyatt said that Ford will try to be gentle, but he couldn’t guarantee anything. He explained that when Ford’s wolf takes over, he will become more of an animal than a human. The only bright side is that we are werewolves, and we heal fast.

A part of me also feels like an idiot. I never thought that there was so much to know about finding and claiming your mate. In my wild fantasy world, mates would practically run to each other and happily embrace each other. Then the male would whisk the female off her feet before heading to the bedroom, where they make love and claim each other.
