Rose’s POV

“Are you sure that Bridget is in this area? I know Beta Malcolm said that our daughter’s mate is human, but I thought she was at least around a werewolf pack. Do you know how dangerous it is to be a werewolf in the human world?”

I keep my eyes on the road as Porsche continues to talk. However, even with my sharp wolf hearing, it only sounds like a low rumble.

I probably should have told him about my pack years ago, but I had made a promise when I left the pack to work in another part of the country to tell no one about the pack. That included my mate and my child.

Now, I think I should have told them about it, but I can’t change things now. Still, I’m so excited that Bridget and Katelyn have found my pack. The only problem is Porsche. He grew up in his pack, and he knows nothing about mine. I never took him to meet anyone there.
