Chapter 53

Fiona’s POV

I’m honored, but at the same time, so sad. I haven’t been with the pack for long or officially one of the members for more than a few weeks before Former Alpha Seth, along with Alpha Wyatt, asked me to do something very important for them. As soon as they told me about Tammy and her situation, I immediately agreed to sit with her and hopefully help her when she wakes up.

I can’t bring myself to look into her mind, though. Shoot. I hate looking back at my own memories.

How can I peer into someone else’s mind who has had even more trauma than me? Plus, I don’t have to see anything. Former Alpha Seth has told me enough to know what I’m dealing with here.

Now, I just need to wait for Tammy to wake up. That doesn’t stop me, though. I still talk to her every day. Even though she is unconscious, I want her to know she is safe, and she has people who care about her.
