Wyatt’s POV

I look across my desk at the Supreme Elder, who is sitting calmly in front of my desk. This is one of the few times she and I can be alone and talk a little more in detail about things.

I really want to pick her brain, because she often holds so much back. I also know she can’t tell us everything. The downside is if she does, things often change and don’t actually happen the way she has seen them.

I don’t want to waste any of our time, and I immediately go straight to the point. “So, what is actually going to happen? Or should I say, what should I be cautious of?”

The Supreme Elder slowly shakes her head. “Alpha Wyatt, you know I can’t tell you that much information. The closest information I can give you is buried in my riddles. The Moon Goddess doesn’t like for me to give the information directly to you.”

Ugh. I know, but I’m still hoping for more.
