Chapter 68

Mike’s POV

“Babe. Come to bed. It is getting late.”

I don’t move.

Instead, I continue to stare out my bedroom window as my mind endlessly runs through everything that I’ve learned recently. Not only do I find out that Bambi isn’t my true mate, but that my true mate is, or should I say, was Katelyn.

I remember at the gathering not being able to take my eyes off of her, while my wolf really wanted me to go to her.

However, with this information, a realization suddenly hits me. My true mate has already been claimed by someone else, while I have already claimed another who has been faking being my true mate. From what the one elder has told me, there isn’t anything that can be done now to reverse it. But that isn’t good enough for me. I have to know the truth.

Why would they do something like that to me?

I have managed to get Beta Malcolm off by himself and, point blank, asked him about Katelyn. He doesn’t even bother to hide it.
