Mike’s POV

Beta Malcolm has been driving for a while, but he still won’t tell me where we are going. However, we are now in the city.

I have tried several times during our trip to get him to tell me where we are headed, but he just won’t give me any information.

The car finally slows down in front of a large office building, and he turns into the parking garage right next to it. The building says SM Companies. Is that where we are going?

As Beta Malcolm pulls the car into the guest parking spots, I finally ask, “Are we going to SM Companies? Isn’t that one of the companies my father wants to get on his side?”

He smiles and nods.

When he turns the car off, he shifts towards me. “SM Companies is the one company your father will never get. It is also the one company that can help us.” He pauses for a moment. “You remember my daughter, Katelyn?”
