Chapter 86

Wyatt’s POV

I sit on the edge of the bed next to Katelyn. She has been so tired lately. If things don’t change soon, I’m going to have the pack doctor look at her. She keeps telling me it is because she used too much energy trying to heal Tyler, but I was right there, too. I’m not nearly as tired as she is.

I look down at my mate sleeping peacefully. She is so beautiful.

A smile slowly spreads across my face as I gently brush her bangs out of her eyes and across her forehead. It is time to get up, but I can’t bring myself to wake her.

As I lean forward and kiss her forehead, I softly whisper, “Sleep, my baby. I hope you feel better soon.”

I sit upright and continue to stare at Katelyn’s sleeping face. After a few moments, I get up and walk out of the bedroom. As I walk through the living room, I call out, “Fiona. Tammy. Keep an eye on Katelyn for me. Okay.”

Fiona and Tammy keep their eyes on the TV and wave an arm in the air as they chime, “Sure.”
