Mike’s POV

I bolt through the trees, over the boulders, and around the bushes. I move my feet as fast as I can. With each step, my heart pounds harder as the sound of battle hits my ears. The growls of victory along with the howls of pain stab my heart. This shouldn’t be happening, and it is all because of my father. His sick need to be the most powerful and have everyone bow down to him is too much. It must stop.

No wonder my mother isn’t anywhere to be found. I’m sure that she couldn’t handle him either.

With that thought running through my mind, I jump into the clearing. The sight that meets me is not something that I have ever wanted to see. Werewolves are everywhere and fighting to the death. The stench of blood and death is in the air.
