Wyatt’s POV

Katelyn and I stand on either side of the wounded beta. We take our hands off the beta as he opens his eyes. After shifting back to his human form as we heal him, he looks between my mate and me, before he asks, “What happened? I thought I was going to die.”

I shake my head. “Not today. We won’t let that happen.”

A faint smile dances across Katelyn’s face. “We brought you back, and we will heal others too, as the battle continues.”

Before the beta can ask anymore, I say, “Since you are back, we will go onto the next one.”
