Chapter 161. You Were Never Man Enough for Her
Milo’s face is swollen and bruised, dark purple, and mottled with hints of red. His lip is split open, and blood is oozing from the wound. His clothes are torn and stained with dirt and blood. When news spread that the vampires had fought with rogues and taken a woman, Nadia was quick to punish Milo. Milo barely had time to register what was going on before he was blindfolded and beaten viciously. He let his guard down, assuming that this was the end, until he received a call directing him to an abandoned gym.
“Why an abandoned gym?” Milo asked Austin as he walked ahead of him.
“Shut up and walk. You’re in no position to question anything,” Austin responded.
As they enter the abandoned gym, Milo does not move forward as he sees Lana. Why was she here? How did she get captured?
Austin shoved Milo forward. As Milo stumbled forward, he hissed from the pain. Lana could see bruises forming on his exposed arms and neck, the skin red and raw from the rough handling
