Anderson POV

Seeing Kelly inches away from me made my heart throb, and my fists clenched involuntarily.

Damn it.

How could she look even more beautiful now than she did back then? Her figure, the way that dress hugged her curves, the defiance in her eyes, it was all too much.

Memories of the past crashed over me, flooding my senses like a wave. I couldn’t help but think about the way she used to laugh, the way she used to smile at me like I was her whole world. And now, here she was, standing in front of me, her face betraying nothing.

I miss her.

The thought came unbidden, raw and vulnerable. I hated myself for it, but I couldn't help it. But it wasn’t just want, it was need.
