Book 3: What Did He Want in Return?

Lyra’s POV 

Relieved, I forgot the reason I was running away from him. After the snowmobile broke down, I had no way of saving myself from the feral rogue wolf. He had been tailing me since I left his home, the igloo. I didn’t know what he wanted from me, but after the snowmobile gave way, I lost all hopes of saving myself until Leandros arrived. 

Seeing the blood-soaked body of the predator lying dead on the snowy grounds, I got up and ran towards Leandros before another rogue could capture me. 

I couldn’t shift yet. If it hadn’t been for Leandros, he would have captured me already. 

Leandros stopped in his tracks and watched me as I ran to him blindly and wrapped my arms around his neck to cling to him. 

“Umm, can I get my clothes?” His husky voice made me freeze with horror, realizing he had shifted in his human form! Now he was standing in my embrace without clothes!
