Book 3: Lyra Bonds with the Triplets

Leandros’s POV  

A soft pat on my cheek woke me up from the best sleep of my life. I opened my eyes only to find Liana hovering over me. “Wake up Dad! We’re late for school!” I sat up with a start and looked out of the window. The bright morning sun made me blink with panic. How did I sleep so late? 

“Gosh, Liana! How will we ever get ready today?” I jumped out of bed and then I remembered Lyra. Where was she? Hadn’t she slept with me last night? I remembered confessing everything to her. She promised to stay with me forever! Was it all a dream? Or did she leave me again? 

Maybe she had second thoughts this morning and left before I woke up. 

“Dad, what are you thinking about? You need to get us ready!” prodded Liana with a groan. I quickly freshened up and rushed out to the kitchen. To my immense surprise, I found the boys in the breakfast nook in the kitchen, tucking into eggs, bacon, and toast! Liana was busy scold
