He released a staggering breath and got up as if dismissing me. After knowing everything about him, didn’t he realize I was here to stay? I wouldn’t go anywhere now. 

“I’m sorry you had to go through so much, Leandros! Why didn’t you correct me before?” I didn’t budge from his bed. I intended to stay here in his house and share his bedroom with him. After his confession, there wasn’t a doubt about what I wanted to do. I would surrender myself to my mate for life. 

“I was mentally disturbed after the abuse. I wasn’t sure you would want such an abused mate. You didn’t deserve a mate like me. Your uncle hated me and pushed me away from you. I went into a severe depression, but thankfully my close friends stood by me. The pups depended on me and I bounced back only for them.
