The next morning, the pain was bearable, and Alexandrios agreed to discharge me only if I rested. “Total bedrest, bro. Follow the medicines and try to be in your wolf form to heal faster.” I listened absent-mindedly while my eyes scanned the room for Hazel. She wasn’t here yet. 

“How long must I rest?” Alexandrios checked my charts and smiled with satisfaction. 

“At least two weeks.”

“Two weeks to heal an arm injury?” I couldn’t believe my ears. Alexandrios hesitated a little, and I somehow had the feeling he was hiding something from me.

“We saved you from silver poisoning and eventual death, bro. Even after the corrosion, traces of silver were found in your body. We had to wash it out. So the only way to heal is to follow my advice.” I felt restless now. I had to see Hazel once. How will I stay for two weeks without seeing her?
