Cerelia’s POV
“Silver Trails Village?” My heart skipped a beat at the prospect of going home with him. I could show him what was left of my village and collect my stuff, too. I really needed my clothes and essentials. The clothes Luna Doris gave me were too loose for me. I looked like a rag doll in them.
“No, Lucania.” He smiled, opening the car door for me to get in.
I couldn’t return the smile. Lucania wasn’t my home and never could be after my bitter ordeal there. I gave him a defiant look to protest against his decision. Obviously, I couldn’t fight in Alpha Alexios’ presence, but I wouldn’t go to Lucania with Xandrios.
“Lucania isn’t my home. I won’t go there ever again.” I got into the back seat with Xandrios following me inside with a frown.
“Where to, sir?” asked the driver of the rental car.
