Lena’s POV
However, the next morning, I woke up late. The sun was glaring at me through the gap in the window curtains. The first thing I thought of was to clear the misunderstanding between us. Despite the tiredness, I had been restless the whole night dreaming about it.
I got out of bed, but strangely, the house was eerily quiet. Where was Zephyrus? I quickly freshened up and rushed out of my room to check. Thankfully, the soreness had reduced, and I felt energized.
I stopped short at the sight of Hazel sitting in the living room and sipping some strange drink. I looked around, but there was no sign of Zephyrus anywhere.
“Hazel? Where’s Zephyrus?” I approached her, and she turned her head to flash a grin at me. Finishing her drink in one gulp, she rose, picking up some shopping bags she brought with her.
