Book 1: By My Side

Zephyrus’s POV

I looked out of the conference room to see the pack gather on the sprawling pack house grounds. Soon I would have to address them, but for that, I needed my future Luna by my side. It would strengthen my position and help me gain the trust of my pack.

“Haven’t Hazel and Lena arrived yet?” I turned to Stavros, who stood beside me with a grim look on his face.

“Not yet. I can’t connect to Hazel. She has blocked me for the last two days.” I noticed the bitterness in his tone. Of course, I knew his equation with Hazel. They fought like children! They could live without one another, yet they had a game of rejection going on between them for a decade!

“Why don’t you accept her as your mate?” I suggested, but he grunted in response.

“I have already, bro, but she’s just taking out her revenge on me.”

I rolled my eyes at their never-ending melodrama. “Claim her then. I’m sure all your problems will cease.”
