Denise’s POV

Two days had passed. Two days later, my own pack members had come to tell me gleefully that they had a petition for me to leave the pack and never come back. Two days since people who were supposed to be my extended family had betrayed me in this way. Apparently, it had been something they wanted to do since my mate, Ethan, died. But without the signature of the Alpha, it was impossible. Cory had finally authorized it. Cory had authorized these people to throw me out of a place that I had been in all my life, the only place that was familiar to me.
