Denise’s POV
“You’re making everyone really curious. They all want to know about you.”
My store has been open for two weeks. I was so proud. I had never imagined that I could do this. I had never had a lot of confidence in myself. But here I was. Doing what I never imagined I would be able to. I had put out a help sign and removed it as soon as Ingrid, my only friend, had shown interest in the job. I was happy she applied for the job. I couldn’t run this place all alone. And even though I knew I would have to kill off my boundaries and get to know more people, I was happy that I was going to be working with a familiar face.
