Chapter 110. The Gift of Mentoring
After the surprise, Eliza gave her a stern look.
"Samy! You're supposed to be asleep! What are you doing at my door?"
"I'm sorry! But I think Mary killed Thomás! They're in our quarters!" She said and ran out knowing that Farida would know what to do.
As soon as Samy returned to the room, Liane was sitting on one bed with Mary, who looked very pleased and on the other was Mentor with Thomás still unconscious as he stared at him with a mixture of pity and guilt. Samy approached Mentor and touched his shoulder.
"Don't blame yourself. He did it to himself." She said sitting down next to him.
"I should have held Mary tighter..." He said disconsolately.
"No Mentor. He may be dead, but my soul is washed clean." Mary said happily stretching. "I'm going to bed. I don't care what the outcome of all this is." She said and looking for an empty bed she lay down and cove
