The two looked at each other.
"What's wrong with his name?" The man dared to question.
"Nothing. I just wanted to know if it has a meaning for you."
"His father told us to call him that." The man said grudgingly.
Moses ran his hand through his hair. He didn't think he would find out much more about Octavian's childhood. However, he remembered that it would be important for Octavian to cover the gap that existed in the part of the time he couldn't remember.
"Why did you pierce Octavian's eye?"
The man turned red again.
"Since we had to keep him, we should correct him.... It was our duty. And he was a very difficult child to deal with. He was stubborn and arrogant."
"You're lying. Tell the truth. And if you tell one more lie in my presence, it's you who's going to get your eye pierced."
