Chapter 126. The Usurped Name
As soon as Afhany and Moses arrived in Klainer's world, they came across the large animals they had never seen drinking water from the side of the lake behind one of the caves.
At first, Afhany was afraid and held tightly to Moses' arm, however, the minutes passed and she realized that the animals were indifferent to their presence. She approached an animal that was the size of an elephant and had a snake-like head and ran her hand slowly over its warm, soft skin.
The creature stared at her for a moment, but then let her touch it and went back to drinking its water. Afhany was amazed. Even the smell of that place was pleasant. She bent down and cupped her hands around some of the water and drank. She found it fresh, but she preferred the water of her world.
She could not express in words the joy she was feeling. So she just went up to Moses and hugged him tightly to show her gratitude.
