Chapter 143. Forever, My Son
When Moses got to his chamber, he took off his crown and his jewels and his garments and lay down. There he kept going through his head all the suffocation he had gone through. Everything went over and over in his mind. He began to feel a headache. He got up, went to the table where the maids always left some snacks, fruits and drinks and took the bottle that Alfred left for Afhany. She knew it was good for headaches and took it. Returning to bed, she immediately felt her head light and eventually fell asleep. And she dreamed.
In his dream the voice spoke to him in his head. He looked around and there was nothing. It was as if he was floating over empty space. And the voice kept speaking to him. Moses then sat down in the dark abyss to concentrate on the voice and understand what it was saying. Then he heard clearly.
"Moses, you are now having a well-deserved rest. I could not tell you that I already knew Afhany's fate so I would not alter what follows. Today y
