Chapter 223. Meeting Her Brother

Mary entered the library again and went to the window and again smelled the wonderful perfume she had been smelling since she arrived there... Where was it coming from? At first, she thought it was from the palace and didn't mention it to anyone. How could such a good scent come from a gray-black cloud? With no answers, Mary left and went to her room to lie down.

However, when she got there, Samy and Liane were sitting talking and when they saw her, they called her to join them. Mary was happy to see that Samy no longer held any sorrow. It must have been a passing fancy. Mary came over and sat next to Samy on her bed.
