Chapter 286. Bella (1)
In Moses' palace, things were gradually changing at first. The villagers and townspeople who were sheltered in his palace began to leave to return to their homes and lands, taking with them supplies so that they wouldn't go hungry until harvest time.
But Moses assured them that he would provide food for them whenever they needed it. And so the walls were torn down and the palace became huge again, with lots of space and many rooms. Louise and Matheus were happy to have a room of their own again.
Lenda advised that the children should continue to sleep in the same room, so that it would be easier to look after them, and Moses arranged a room for the children where there were doors on both sides, in addition to the front one. This way, Lenda could stay in her room quietly at night and when she wasn't with the children, she could stay in the room next door and in the other room she put Octavian's parents.
