The two of them returned to the restaurant so that Matheus could open the portal. Before Matheus could open it, Otávio grabbed his arm and Matheus turned to him with an inquiring look.

"I need to have a stiff drink before we go back." Otávio said with tears in his eyes.

Matheus caught the waitress's eye and asked her for two strong drinks and guided Otávio to a table to wait for the waitress to serve them. She didn't take long and Otávio drank without knowing what the drink was and put the empty glass on the table.

"Do you want another one?" Matheus asked, startled because he had never seen Otávio so emotional.

"No. I just need a little time... I don't know how Bella will react to this news. She's been demanding a child from me for years, and now finding out that the problem is with her will make her very unhappy. I don't know how to tell her."
