Chapter 33. The Goddess in the Desert
Eliza rode for three hours with no change of scenery. She didn't know what she was doing or where she was going, but she knew she had to go that way.
She saw a metallic structure in the big sea of sand, considering it abnormal, and approached it.
Eliza got off her horse and without caring if he would run away or not, she approached the metallic structure. It was huge and she wondered if it was some sort of modern palace that she had not yet seen. Taking a closer look, she realized that there was only one door. No windows or other entrances. The door was open and she tried to see without entering, but it looked empty. Empty and dark. She decided to go in.
Right next to her, there was a torch and a kind of plaster vase with a blue fire. She took the torch and lit it on fire and when the room was lit she looked around and realized that in the very clean environment, there were statues of animals in every corner.
