Chapter 38. Agreement of the Gods
Moses went downstairs and had dinner with his father-in-law. It seemed that sleep had not restored his energy, as he was still pale, on the other hand, Eliza was calm and happy. He sat down and everyone began to serve themselves.
It was a silent dinner, but the beast was there and looked at Moses as if he wanted to say something. After a while, the beast entered his mind.
"The creature is here. But I cannot drive it out. She is a servant of a god from another world, and if she is here, it is because that god has turned his gaze on the humans here, and also on us gods."
"And what are we to do?"
"Nothing. Just wait. I'll try to get something out of her. Maybe she'll tell us her directions." The beast said and vanished from their sight.
