Chapter 50
The passage was through a long corridor, which was brightly lit. Although it was in the basement, the facilities were no less elaborate than those above ground. Each wall in the basement was adorned with European-style antique furnishings.
The wedding ceremony was straightforward. Carolina held a black and white photograph of Richard as a souvenir. The Butler presided over the ceremony, and there were no outsiders present. it was attended only by the Vincent household staff.
Red sat in an expensive armchair, sipping red wine and observing Carolina.
A thin black veil covered her beautiful but stoic face. Despite her calm exterior, she exuded a gentle charm.
The atmosphere was tense in the solemn room where the wedding ceremony took place. However, Carolina was somewhat satisfied. at least there were no outsiders present, and she didn’t have to face the curious glances of others in broad daylight.
